Experience: I passed the Oregon State Bar in 1994. I began my legal career as a member of the tax department at Deloitte & Touche, one of the world's largest accounting and tax advisory firms. Following my departure at Deloitte & Touche, I was a member of a Portland area midsize law firm for five years where my practice emphasized estate and tax planning. Currently I have my own practice.

Education: A graduate of Oregon State University with an accounting/business degree. A Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School with an emphasis in estate planning and tax. Passed the Certified Public Accountancy exam.

General Background: Born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Attended Wilson High School. My wife, Julie, and I have three beautiful children, Lea, Steffen and Matthew.

Probate Services: I provide service in all aspects of probate. Whether an estate is modest and requires only a Small Estate Affidavit to complex estates requiring tax return filings and extensive probate court proceedings.

Conservatorships/Guardianships: I provide services in all aspects of a conservatorship and/or guardianship. Beginning with the initial filings with the court, the ongoing necessary court filings and advice, and finally to assisting in the closing and termination of the conservatorship and/or guardianship.

Estate Tax and Fiduciary Tax Return Preparation: My significant tax background allows me to provide complete estate tax, gift and fiduciary tax return preparation services.
